Our Role
Curated China is a travel design and coordination service. We design custom itineraries and coordinate with vetted licensed Chinese inbound operators or local partners who deliver ground services such as guides, drivers, hotels, transportation, tickets, and permits.
Booking Process
Private journeys are confirmed through a written itinerary and invoice. We confirm your dates, preferred itinerary, hotel style, guide language, pace, and any special arrangements before payment is requested. Your itinerary or invoice will identify the services, payment schedule, cancellation terms, and delivery structure that apply to your booking.
Payment
Payment is requested only after a written itinerary or invoice has been confirmed. Booking typically requires a deposit to confirm booking arrangements. Final payment timing, payment methods, currencies, and refund rules are detailed in your itinerary or invoice. All prices are in USD unless stated otherwise.
Cancellations
Cancellation terms vary by itinerary, date, hotel, ticket, flight, permit, and booking conditions. The cancellation terms in your itinerary or invoice control. We strongly recommend travel insurance.
Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is the traveler's responsibility. For Tibet travel, comprehensive insurance is required.
Visas
Visas are the traveler's responsibility. We provide guidance about visa-free policies and requirements but cannot process visas. Embassy decisions are entirely outside our control.
Limitation of Liability
Curated China acts as a travel designer and coordinator. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for actions or omissions of independent operators, hotels, airlines, rail providers, attractions, government authorities, or other service providers. Force majeure events such as weather, government actions, public health measures, strikes, closures, or transportation disruption are outside our control.
